What are the different Project Statuses and how are they updated?

Buildr automatically assigns Project Statuses to every project based on the Stage and the Start/End Dates that you set.

Here is a list of project statuses and the details for when each status is applied:

  • Pursuit - displays when a project is in an Active stage

  • Upcoming - displays when a project is in a Won stage and the current date is before the start date

  • Active - displays when a project is in a Won stage and is currently in between the start and end dates

  • Complete - displays when a project is in a Won stage and the current date is after the end date

  • Lost - displays when a project is in the Lost stage

So for example, imagine you won a project last year and set it to the "Won" stage. The project started at the end of last year, and the completion date is sometime next year. In this case, the Project Status would be "Active".

How to View Project Statuses

Buildr automatically updates the Project Status for every project.

The Project Status is a filter that can be added to any View. Click on the "Columns" button at the top left menu, select "Project Status," and click "Apply."

You can also view the Project Status by clicking on a specific Project. The status is displayed in the Overview and Details tab.
